What I really want to know, is if the TP2 is going to have video out. If it does not have Video out if it might be possible to software enable it using the software from the TP1. I expect that it wont be possible, well at least not very easy, since the native resolution for the TP2 is not TV standard.

The Video out is one of the huge reasons I looked at the TP, even after saying what I said before, I am starting to like the TP2 more and more and I think I could get around he marginal performance, but if it wont do video out I would rather take he smaller screen of the TP just for that capability. The big screen would be nice for video watching and web browsing though.

Ok sorry if someone answered this, but if it has video out and it's a 16:9 display, what sort of video out does it have? HDMI or will the image be squeezed into a 4:3 display?

Did you try the compressed version??

There certainly isn't anything sluggish about that version, my system flies with that & has no lag whatever except when it scans through a folder with 600 mp3 files in it.

Yeah, I tried the compressed version. I was surprised because I read so many posts about how fast it was, but it doesn't run that way for me. Oh well, the TP2 TF3D is on its way soon in VGA so I'll hold out for that.
