not really improved resolution, it has a bigger screen yes, but the pro has more pixels per square than the pro2 (notice that the pro 2 screen is wider than ours, but its still 480 pixels wide just like the pro)

TP2 is not much of an upgrade if you ask me. We'll get the TP2 TF3D, whether it be an official rom update or a custom rom.

TP2 Will finally come out and they'll release Windows Mobile 7 and tell us it will only be on the next wave of devices.... it sucks but its life.

...not like we won't have it before the owners of the new devices anyway

I understand and I get it, you would just think that they would spend a little more time doing some market research and listening to feedback from real users (as such ourselves) before releasing a device. Just frustrated....

Not surprised. Happens all the time. Since I'm gonna get the Pre to replace my iC902, I can hold out on replacing my TouchPro with the Touch Pro. Like a someone said, the OS will be ported to older TP anyway. So its no biggie.

Not true. It may be the same pixels horizontal which is 480 but vertical it's 800 vs 640. Overall it is improved resolution. The pro is 640 x 480. Pro 2 is 800 x 480. The same concept with tv's and such. Just because it's the same pixels horizontal doesn't mean that it's the same Vertical. I would take a 1080p tv over a 1080i anyday and they have the same pixels with your though process lol
