On the official Pandora blog, they claim to be working on a solution. Under the entry for the announcement of the iPhone app, there are essentially 43 comments with people begging for a Windows Mobile version. Pandora claims the problem is not that they are playing favorites, but the iPhone is just far easier to develop for, what with the single hardware model. WinMo devices differ on all types of screen sizes, resolutions, input methods, buttons, keyboards, etc. They said they should have news on the subject later in the year. I hope so... I CRAVE for some Pandorage on my Touch Diamond, it NEEDS it

good to know, but i doubt they will ever do it. they should just release the protocol or whatever is needed and let the geniuses here, or even over at XDA hook us up. then they wouldnt have to worry about a damn thing.

I'm happy with conduits pocket player and their web radio. Pandora can wait. Esp since Flash Lite 3 is due out for opera mobile in a little bit.

You can stream music from Sky.fm through windows media player on your device... quality is very good

I believe i read somewhere it didnt work. maybe not in this particular thread, but somewhere. I wish i had skyfire to check it out.

I have Skyfire and I tried running it and I got this error -

"The Flash local storage is currently disabled and must be enabled to use Pandora."

I don't know where to even look for that, since it is all managed by Skyfire.

It's a shame that Pandora might be going away soon anyway. As far as Mobile services similar to Pandora, look for the last.fm mobile client. It's not official but there are a few out there. In addition, TCPMP plays any streaming shoutcast/radio station I've thrown at it so there's a few thousand stations right there. My favorites are some of the somaFM stations and KEXP.org.

Maybe I'm beating a dead horse with this one. I have read many many posts on Pandora on PPCGEEKS and other forums now.

Using Intent_MIDlet_Manager_11.1.7.1036.cab to open imneveral0ne's posted Pandora j2me files and I am getting "Unable to verify digital signature."

How would you get around this? Hex?

Are apps that are configured for Vision not compatible with EVDO?
