I believe that this is due to the fact that you are using opera mini. It acts as a proxy to the web. Guess that the proxy is located in Norway. If you try it through PIE this should not be the case.

hey, did anyone happen to find a place to download the JAD & JAR files for this service? I just talked to Tim Westergren [the founder of Pandora] last night at a meetup he had in Nashville and he said they were already working on a version for WM6 PPC. But, for now, said it might be possible for anyone with Java on their system to run the app.

So, c'mon community. Who found a way to download those files!

Sorry I did not respond sooner, I haven't followed this thread lately. The proxy thing makes a lot of sense. I set up my account on the desktop and then used that log-in when I opened pandora in opera.mini even though it told me I had a Norway IP and could not use the service. It has been a while, so I will try it again and see if I have forgotten anything or if I can still access it on my Mogul.

I have the edited jad file (no fee or expiration) from a 240x320 Samsung.Would that work on a Touch? Mods,if so,would I be allowed to post it here? My Touch is on the way,how would I install it?Also,I ran this from my app folder on my 610,so I do not know which browser it used,Opera Mini, or the native Obligo browser.

dont say i never contributed something. even though this is my first time hehe but ive got my hands on the jar and jad file for the sprint phones. i uploaded em to my touch and obviously it didnt work, but im sure someone here can make that problem go bye bye. anyways, without further adieu, your files.
