As of today I am OOC with Sprint.
I tried to get them to transfer my current PCS Family Plan #'s over to SERO plans but even with a very nice and helpful CSR was unable to get that off. So I decided to have my contract terminated but to keep the service month-to-month and I made sure that the ETF would be waived even if I decide to cancel months down the road. My idea now is to go and buy 2 of the cheapest prepaids, port my current PCS #'s to them, THEN go online and signup for SERO and have my original PCS #'s that are now on the prepaids ported back over to SERO. I do not however know anything about porting #'s so if anyone could lend a helping hand in getting what I wrote above done Id be greatly apreciated |

ahhh, that sounds like way too much bs to get on SERO......regular CS are limited on what they can do. Call back & say you want to cancel, but make the date out a month (that way if u dont get what u want u can call back & change yer mind).....retentions have more power to offer deals to keep you from cancelling. good luck

I actually did all that thru Retentions
They tried to offer me little deals such as 200 minutes added for free, 500 TXT msgs for free, etc. and I told them no thanks the only way you can get me to stay is switching my current plan over to SERO. I wasnt up for trying to convince 20 different reps into switching me over, so I just aksed to set me up month-to-month, this way I can switch over to SERO whenever I want(if I choose to) or I can just cancel and move on. EVERY sprint customer should be doing this even if your completely happy withyour plan/service/phone, if only to get out of your current 2 year contract your locked into giving you the option on bailing if a better deal arises with another company. |

All I could say is try again, each agent seem to all give a different response.
I was just given a direct # to retentions, no menus or queues, answered directly by a retentions agent. 877-775-4886 |

I'm about to call them which this was perfect since I know Verizon is prepared to give me a better deal then my current. Going to call Sprint and say Verizons got a better deal and you guys gave me a way out for free. I'd like Sero on both lines please (since you can't family plan them.) which is still 50% off my current bill.

I dislike the Sprint CSRs
I spoke with a painful Sprint CSR and says i'm not eligible for the ETF to be waived because my charges went down and it is not more but less although a new fee was implemented. Can anyone share what their bill looks like when they are eligible???
This is my bill charges comparison changes: DECEMBER BILL: Charges assessed on Sprint that we elect to pass on to customers and are intended to recover the administrative and other costs of complying with certain government programs and mandates. Charges that appear in this section, also called "Sprint Fees", are not taxes or government-imposed fees. Heres a quote from another forum that may help you...
"...per the T&C page at Sprint.com the 2008 T&C differ from the 2007 T&C in material ways, and changes in cost to the end user have nothing to do with whether or not one can leave without incurring an ETF because of those material changes. If they make a material change (not an "adverse" change) that changes some features of what is being agreed to in a material way, one can refuse to accept further service under the changed contract without an ETF if you do so within the first 30 days of the new contract terms. Even if what they did cut your bill in half, if it also changed the terms of the contract, you could leave with no ETF.
