Any plans to make the VCast cab play nicely with the RC builds?

Sorry if was already posted:
input issues
1) keyboard does not fold in if I press on a highlighted icon at the bottom. Instead, it gives a menu, which is pretty useless
2) "transcriber" is gone and there is no swype. I can understand the latter, but transcriber is part of original release and I personally like it more than a standard keyboard.

Those are microsoft feaures in the beta com5 builds. Press kb icon towards top or bottom and it will fold up but sometimes takes a few presses.

Been rocking out with release 1.4b and I have to say that it is very close to being final. The only problem, and I have bitched about this before, is the messaging tab. Whenever you receive a new message and go to the tab, it does not automatically go to the new message, but instead is still on the last message you viewed, causing you to have to scroll to the new message. Even if you have multiple new messages you still have to scroll until you get to the new ones. Someone had said this was a problem with the Windows build but I have used the same build in another ROM and this problem did not exist.

Ok some changes here for RC1.5.

To change kb to English it requires pressing here the 1st time you open it.


To close the KB press the bottom left corner of keyboard icon.

I've added in BT PAN and BT DUN profiles as seen here :

Any behind the scenes performance tweaks? Or is it just new Bing, Opera and that keyboard thing? Heading out of town and so far 1.4b is running smooth so don't want to reflash if not 100% necessary.

I do get English keyboard. However, text input settings show Chinese! And all options are for Chinese. No transcriber. Moreover, if I try to switch, it does switch to Chinese! (but no fonts, of course). I am sorry, but this is a way too serious flaw in this ROM.

Having a problem with 1.5 ... trying to log onto MyPhone I'm stuck on a numeric keypad and can't get any QWERTY keyboards to work. Bummer. Gotta slide back to 1.4b ... sorry, gotta have the contacts for work during the week - LOL.
