I use hotmail and have not had any problems at all with windows live set up.
Doesn't usually take more than a minute to set up.

I am using RC 1.1

How do you check and stop running programs with this ROM?
dotFred Task Manager is non responsive for me.

Few things so far. Using with CHT. Seems to be no problem. Using with the original Swype. Seems to be fine but I'll keep posted.

MMS - tried to send directly from album. The phone seemed to freeze. Bottom lights showed, then screen went off. Locking slider came on but I couldn;t get phone back. Also held end call and got the Turn Phone off Menu but couldn't actually get the phone back, prompting a battery pull.

This a.m. I went to manually update the weather. Phone locked up momentarily. I thought I'd need to reset but then Sense closed and restarted.

Hotmail works great. SMS seems fine. I have Atom D3D video driver and hTC Leo Camera fix on board too.

One question. How do I keep Activesync from starting at boot up? I thought on the original ROM if a person disabled time sync in Phone setting activesync would not automatically start. Seems to be an app I don't need running.

When I click on the start bar on the home screen some icons drop down which I assume is also showcase but there is no indication as to what any of the icons do.

When it opens , down at the bottom of the page you will see the xx that close the running apps and it has your memory status . If you have apps running they are listed at the top of the screen . I have the showcase logo in my screen links.

Showcase does not appear to be working on my phone at all, well at least not in the way you describe.

I opened up 3 programs just to test it out. Went back to the home page with all three programs active, click on Showcase (which I added to my home screen quick links) and nothing happens. Nothing opens up and no xx at the bottom of the screen or anything.

Do a soft reset and try it again.

Finaaly got this message:
Cannot open 'Showcase'. A critical component is either missing or cannot start because program memory is unavailable. Tap Start>Settings>System Tab> Task Manager, stop programs that did not automatically stop, and try again

Problem is, when get to the last step there is no "Task Manager" icon.
