If I am correct about what you are asking . . . when presented a text input opportunity like new message, email, etc., click on the keyboard icon in the center of the bottom bar. It will present a window with the text input options, one of which is "Phone Keypad" - choose that and you are good to go.

ya i tried doing that but it didnt have the option so i just reverted back to the energy rom with the start menu on the top instead of the bottom and it had the option for the phone keypad text input.
