I'm with you guys on statements like "not enough donations not going to build ROMS" showing a person is in this hobby for the wrong reasons. I never knew he said that until this thread popped up - I don't have a problem with people having a "Donate" button or other people donating if they feel like it but to have your hobby work contingent on donations is a little much...

FYI ROM's by NFSFan, WDM and Vin have all made it on my phone and have really extended my enjoyment, usability and life of the phone - because of that I wouldn't ever say I wouldn't "pay"/donate for their efforts... the quote feels crass, rude and unappreciative. These chefs don't work for the phone companies or HTC so their work isn't covered by what you paid for your phone - a simple thanks is more appropriate in my eyes.

Happy to see chefs still cooking in the community kitchen Thanks.

Re: Paying for custom roms?

Thats a good point you made plemen, none of us work for the companies so we shouldnt expect money. I agree with that 100%

Re: Paying for custom roms?

Well glad to see that this post has alot feed back.Seems like I started a nice point.LOL but I just looked at it as a lil what everyone has already said.If I knew where to even start I would be on it all the time lol.I have nothing better to do.And really do not care about getting a touch pro.Do not like the feel.If anyone would like to give me pointers on where to start hit me up.

Re: Paying for custom roms?

I think this thread needs closing

Enough people have shared their thoughts and I don't want it to start into a flame fest like on the other board

Just a thought
