oh my bad, i thought for some reason you said you tried that.
or maybe I just assumed that. woops.

also, when you call radioshack, talk to a manager.
there's always managers in call centers and they always have the power to waive some $ depending on the company.
I use to work for apple, nike, and a few others in call centers.
Personally, i walked out of nike after a month due to their extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely horrible customer service.
you really can't even call it customer service it's that sh*tty.

Re: HTC Touch battery issue

problem solved, well one at least. I am still going to Sprint. Here is the response I got.

Please re-package the battery and everything that came
with it. Your free return label will arrive via USPS Regular Mail.
Once you receive, please retain a copy of the return tracking number for
your own records.

If you use the original outer packaging, please remove the old label
before attaching the new one.

Once your return is received back into our warehouse, you will receive a
"return has processed" email which will detail your credit.

We apologize for any inconveniences this has caused you.
