There has to be something I'm missing here...

I can get GPS to lock outside and inside near if near a window. I haven't done anything special.

Here's what I did.

Upgrade to Sprint Radio (Did not let customizations run)
Upgrade to GPS Enabled Rom
Ran the Alltel PPST
Made my regedits
Set Location to ON
Run GPS Viewer and let it sit for a while

I'll try those steps one by one. I am already running that radio, so I'll try reflashing the ROM to make sure none of the tweaks I did screwed it up. Just out of curiosity, what ROM are you running. I'd like to try the same exact ROM to help eliminate as many variables as possible.

I've used ghettos 721 and OMJ's newest Rom and Jak's most recent.

Alright. I'm going to reflash the official Sprint ROM with the radio version you're using, then flash OMJ's 3.03.04 ROM. I'll try your registry edits, and then give it a shot. If I follow those steps exactly, and it works on yours, there should be absolutely no reason it shouldn't work on mine. Oh, and by the way, I asked the guys in software development to email me all the SUPL AGPS registry entries, and any new PPST they are using in testing. Haven't heard back yet...

Flashed Radio
Flashed ROM
Made registry edits

Now I don't even get the intermittent satellites. I get absolutely nothing. I just don't get it. I guess I'm gonna see what comes back on my email, unless anyone has any other ideas...

Maybe you have a bad GPS chip...

Have you ran the Alltel PPST? Install this cab then go to windows and run ppst.exe. Use ghetto's rom.

I entered these settings into my phone in both the registry and in the phone settings using QPST. I'll test later and see if it works. We'll see... I also updated my radio to the newest radio from Bell.

I personally never had luck with the bell radio, I just used the sprint radio, and that seems to be working good for me. I also have never had a probelm getting locks at all. I Updated my Custom Alltel Rom today.

With me all I have ever had to do was turn my location on, and then let my phone sit by the window for a while, at times it takes 5 minutes to get my first lock, other times it takes me 20 minutes to get intial lock. but after that i get locks right away, so it can be inconsistant but at least it works.

I got an initial lock with Bell Radio in 5 minutes after upgrading the radio. I don't see a boost in performance but it didn't hurt anything so oh well. I really want to get AGPS working though b/c then we'd be looking at 5 second locks consistantly.

For your Alltel Rom you should include the Alltel AGPS settings, that way if we do get it working it'll be easier for everyone else.
