Re: Touch: CAN'T answer an incoming call !!!

I believe the cab coob is referring to is the one from this thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=30265 I installed it and am able to answer all my incoming calls but when I manually did the reg edits and disabled the PAM connection I had this same issue.

Re: Touch: CAN'T answer an incoming call !!!

I had this problem too after doing the reg-edits. Then I switched back to enable PAM and the problem stopped. But then it came back even with PAM enabled and I had to hard reset

Re: Touch: CAN'T answer an incoming call !!!

I am seeing the same issue - but I can answer the phone by tapping the "Answer" softkey followed by pressing and holding the green button.

Re: Touch: CAN'T answer an incoming call !!!

Same problem with the Diamond. I'm wondering if this is an issue with the device trying to "detach" from data prior to picking up the call. Maybe there is a delay value in data disconnection. Does anyone know where the registry entries are located governing data connections?

Re: Touch: CAN'T answer an incoming call !!!

I have this issue too, and have never installed "advanced config". Its gotta be the data thing. I have push mail via exchange, Pocket Weather, SPB Mobile Shell, Yahoo, and Gmail all fighting for download time. It happens for me about once a day. I have the VzW Touch (XV6900) running Titan radio, OMJ's Verizon OEM ROM with 6.1.

Re: Touch: CAN'T answer an incoming call !!!

Possible solution on delay answer when data on (no hard reset needed!)

Take a look at the thread I just started. This may be the answer.

Re: Touch: CAN'T answer an incoming call !!!

This is caused by poor signal. This happens to me with the Titan. It never happens at home with full signal(live next to a sprint tower). But happens frequently at work with crap reception. Next time it happens, check out your signal strength.

Re: Touch: CAN'T answer an incoming call !!!

After literally days of searching forums and google, I couldn't find an answer to this problem. I have a Touch with 6.1 and it would take 15 seconds (exactly... every time) from the time I hit the answer or green button till the time I could finally say hello. I have Schapps Advanced Config installed but I always have, and I never used to have the problem. I also have Seven Beta installed for push mail. I Paused Seven, soft reset and the delay is gone!! Resume Seven, 15 second delay comes right back.

Any suggestions for a fix now that I know the cause??

Re: Touch: CAN'T answer an incoming call !!!

I had this same exact problem and I did a hard reset and that didn't work. then I flashed a rom that I knew worked and that didn't work so I flashed another rom and still nothing. I called sprint and they sent me a brand new phone. This only happens on some phones. I tried and tried but never found a fix. This has to do with schaps or s2u2 because it didn't start until I tried a rom with both pre installed. good luck

Re: Touch: CAN'T answer an incoming call !!!

Thanks so much for the advice here. I have the TP2 with Sprint and all of a sudden, I couldn't answer calls. One or two rings at the most and then the phone would go into voicemail. It was very frustrating. I reset all settings in Advanced Auto Config, reset, and then removed the program (without a hard reset.) Now, I'm able to answer calls again. I really appreciate the advice. I would not have expected Advanced Auto Config to be the problem, but it's obvious that this was the culprit!
