Force Roam in new Sprint ROM

This is exactly the reason to force Roaming.

How would one go about creating a script to do this from a launcher in one button press? That would be MUCH easier than going through all the menus. Would you need to modify a registry setting? Maybe a Mortscript?

You could create a small program that does the following:
Read roaming state
If state = automatic or sprint only then
then state = roaming only
else state = automatic.

That way every time you press the launcher you could easily toggle back and forth. I've probably oversimplified. My WinMo knowledge is limited. Is it doable somehow?

ive asked for this before and would LOVE to have it.

would pay a donation for development of it since i'd use it so much.

This is really driving me crazy. I have made the registry changes and changed my PRL to the 60610. When I select Roam Only, my phone just constantly looks for a signal with no results. When I switch back to Automatic, I get my Sprint signal back.

Any ideas?

How do you change the PRL i have the file, but don't know what to do with it?

Ok, I updated my PRL, but now it seems that I cannot connect on 1x. I was unablle to connect on EV, but could connect on 1x. I switched back to the 60613 and I still connedct on EV or 1x. How do I get it back to at least be able to connnect to the 1x. That was better than nothing which is what I have now.

I guess you could try 60611 or 60612

Yeah, I reran the ROM install and then used sprite backup to restore eveything. Everything works perfect again. Sprite works perfect everytime.
