The quick answer to this question is, YES.

You're next questions would probably be, what works/doesn't and how.

How, you've probably read on HoFo.

What works, making and receiving calls and sms only.

MMS, Boost Mobile is Sprint. No working MMS server settings for PDA/PPC.

Internet/EVDO, again you're on Sprint, there is no way for you to provision your new phone for data access to their network.

Note: Now as for the last part, I could make a suggestion; if you can access your current (already provisioned) phone's AAA/HDR/security settings and transfer them over, you "may" have something there..

THANKS but how can I do it ? sprint sero is good but my mom wont get me a plan lol
EDIT: I think I can get the Wap, mms, and brew settings out of a boost phone by using a programm call Moto PST general

Just search elseware for cloning. there was a few discusions here and xda . may have been deleted for there content.
