Re: scammer on craigslist
That's the type of idiot that cause problems for those of us that try to educate people on how to do it themselves and grow the user population. I know that there are some people out there that are intimidated by flashing, but still $75? That's just highway robbery, unless of course he buys you a new phone if he bricks your old one.

Re: scammer on craigslist
He forgot the part about voiding your warranty. That's the best selling point of all!
I shouldn't rag though i've been guilty of accepting a plate lunch from a friend while I flashed his phone during a lunch break. Last edited by Darkflame808; 06-02-2008 at 02:30 PM. |

Re: scammer on craigslist
Personally I don't see harm in someone offering to do the work for someone else that might be uncomfortable with it.
I did my friends phone and he places "value" of my time to do it. I spent a good hour doing it and my time is worth at least that. Especially if they have questions or problems. It would be nice if they were up front about where they got it and still give folks credit for the work.

Re: scammer on craigslist
isn't it illegal to charge people for a rom? isn't it along the same lines as selling mods for games?
