Sorry, I thought I explained that in the first post... I unlocked and flashed a 6.1 ROM to the phone, then later (after that ROM seemed to be unstable) I reflashed the phone to the stock Sprint ROM using the official update package which relocked the phone. I do not believe that is what caused the problem, at least not directly, as the phone continued to be unstable while after going back to stock and then (seemingly without provocation) the phone developed this reset loop more than a week after the reflashing.

Since then I have tried unlocking and flashing 6.1 ROM's, flashing stock ROM's and most things in between (all via the SD card) to no avail. Flashing via the card always appears to have gone successful until you restart the device and then you're right back where you started.

Thanks,

John

Interesting... what gets me is that mine didn't start doing this right after the flash. It worked for a week or so (although it would lock up and require a hard reset to get going again) and then it got into this loop more or less out of the blue.

and i guess if its not working..just try flashing the 2.31 coke unlocker, and flashing a completely new rom to see what happens.

also try the sprint leaked one.
Yep, tried that, and you would think that it would work, but no joy. Flashing from the card seems to work fine, but as soon as you reset to boot the phone back up it goes into the loop.

Have you tried a QUALIFIED REPAIR TECHNICIAN? There are several places that offer service.

Re: Stuck in an endless reset loop... Help Please

what the problem is ..... is that when you flashed the sprint stock rom back you may have had a radio that did not get overwritten the only way to fix this is to make sure that the sprint firmware is on there and to take it to a repair store and if they ask you if you downloaded any firmware to the phone say no

Jak,

If it were an issue directly related to an incompatible radio or ROM wouldn't the problem have reared it's ugly head as soon as I flashed it and not a week later after a random reset?

I'm not saying that your wrong, I just can't understand the delay between when the phone was flashed and when the resets started.

Thanks,

John
