Where do I put the two text files for red light cams and speed traps? Do I need to do anything to the sys.txt file to make sure they show up when driving?

i did a hard reset yesterday, today i ran ppst, sprint version as i am on sprint, and installed astrogps launcher. i see the tomtom launcher and iguidance launcher, but there is no igo8 launcher. so i am not getting any satellites on igo8, gmaps if fine...any ideas what did i miss...

Look on post 19, dumb4ever posted a link for astrolauncher for iGO8.

Anyone having trouble running iGo8 from standby? I always need to restart to get it going, otherwise I get the waiting icon and then it just disappears doing nothing.

Here's a shortcut I made for iGo 8 that uses the iGo 8 icon picture instead of the ugly Astro one. Just drop it in Windows\Start Menu\Programs.

Are you using Ghetto's rom by any chance? I've had similar problems when I was using his ROM.

Nope I'm using OMJ's 6.1 ROM with all the added programs.

i have that problem often, it depends on how much free Ram you have, closing programs doesn't seem to fix it either, it's strange about starting up. I always just reset the phone and launch it first thing, that never fails. from there i can open my texts, call people or get on PIE without any problems, but if i do those things first then try to open igo8, it just hangs and then returns to what i was doing.

I am dying to get my alltel touch to use the gps features but with all my programs it says cannot locate gps receiver I have latest alltel rom 3.04 and i have my location setting ON and last I set my com to COM1 please someone help me google maps worked for like 2 weeks I tried Igo 8 but i cant find my GPS receiver please someone help me I'm dying over here and I have no idea what to do. I'm new to tricking out phones and stuff.....so speak slowly lol
