im guessing since im already on a 2.XX unlocker, wouldnt i just install the alltell rom right over?
You can flash to 3.37 by installing the alltel radio. You can't exactly "go back to non-gps", though you can flash a non-gps radio. You probably won't brick your phone by leaving Titan 3.35 on it, but who knows what the future might hold. My general recommendation is don't flash your radio unless you are having problems.

Re: I keep hearing that 3.35 radio is not safe...

if you want a safer way to go to the 3.35 radio then search for a thread by darkflame808 called a safer way to get rev-a. id post the link but the wife has the pc on myspace lock down so im posting this through my touch. ive tested it and went back and forth between 3.35 and 3.37 with no problems. no need to downgrade the cokeman either.

enjoy!

Re: I keep hearing that 3.35 radio is not safe...

I hate to mention it, especially since it's quite likely no one has a clue, but the topic of this thread brings to mind something I've thought about for a while now yet never got around to researching...

It would be interesting to find out if any of this pulling pieces off of other phones and hacking them onto our Frankenphones has caused any radiation increases... Not that I think that this is really a concern, but how is anyone to know.
Heck I can't even figure out why my phone is sometimes making a high pitch "eeeeee" noise now...

Re: I keep hearing that 3.35 radio is not safe...

Ok, I've tried both Radios twice. 3.37 Dropped a call while sitting still with 2 bars in my house. That has never ever happened. The data connection was also hung this morning. I'm now running 3.35 again. If I have similar problems I think I may put the Stock ROM back.

P.S. If we are running the Titan Radio ROM, why can't we run Titan OS ROM at this point and have GPS with that?

Re: I keep hearing that 3.35 radio is not safe...

If it doesn't break don't fix it... But on the other hand it's always fun to experiment... (Make sure you have insurance if you are that sort) and know what you are doing also help...

So far I had flashed back and forth between the 3.5 and 3.7 radio a few times without problem using the 2.31 unlocker. But for the most part I am happiest with the 3.5 radio and AllTel rom. Reason being is that I wanted to try out jd ROM after hearing all the hype about it. So I flashed jd lite ROM and ughh... jd was serious that it was lite! But I must admit that guy know what he is doing... His rom is extremely lean and mean.

But it didn't exactly suit my need so I thought well before flash back to the Alltel rom I tried out OMJ rom and urghhh it's extremely bloated

So I am back on Alltel Rom...
