Sorry, that was all i could think of... I just loaded 1.1 on my Vogue on Sunday. I downloaded the zip from Martin's site, extracted the files to the root of my sd card. then clicked on haret and i was booting into Android. Im not really sure what else could be holding your phone back. Sorry...

how do i update versions without loosing all program data and programs? is it possible to transfer?

i just have certain programs with alot of data that i wouldn't like to loose.

1.5 version is getting developed!

I think if you just switch out the zimage file... As for the apps, if you leave the app folder created by Android the apps should still be there. I'm not 100% on either, but its all i got.

switch out the zimage file with the new zimage?

i'll try it before i go deleting everything. what is the data and system for them if i dont change those files?

Make a copy of everything and put it in a seperate folder, just in case im wrong...

ok so future users who want to upgrade but don't want to loose all the data all you have to do is replace everything but the data.img file.

i just upgraded and still have all my saved files and all my apps with saved data.

p.s.- just to be safe though save all your old files and test it before you go and delete all your old stuff.

I just checked XDA and I now believe its the z image, and the system image that need to be replaced. so if just the z image doesnt work try both ot those.

also dzo has released an update today... get it here.
