Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

Ok, I'm really sorry, but I'm either dyslexic or just blind. Cause I really can't see anything about upgrading the radio. Am I missing something?

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

I tried the cab version and it didn't want to boot. The copied files version works fine except for the problems I mentioned (audio disabled, camera freezes phone, cannot resume phone).

I've read all of the first post, and every single post for about 10 pages. But for whatever reason I can't find what you are referring to. But where would I get the update for the phone anyways? I checked HTC's site and cannot find anything.

Update: I found the rom update for my phone on the HTC site. Here's the link for anyone that needs it http://www.htc.com/us/support.aspx
Just select your phone (and carrier) and then select the "Software Downloads" tab, once there you should see the rom update download link. Follow the instructions.

Update2: Ok, so I've updated the rom and restored everything back up in my phone on WM. I've now run Android and everything works! The screen wakes up, audio works, music player works, even the camera works although it did a "force quit" after a took a picture. But otherwise I'm very happy!

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

hey pokerrus, delete some files off your sd card. you are out of space, which you can see from the error message. you should have at least 128MB of free space to do the extract on android's first boot

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

So far I'm loving everything. One issue I have noticed tho, is that when I power down the phone in Android, as soon as I plug in the charger it acts as if it was reset and loads up into WM.

Has anyone else found this? Or is it just my phone?

What do you mean by power down? Do you mean really power down, or is this just happening when you turn off the screen and plug it in?

Android (for me) sometimes starts booting up on its own, and other times just shuts down and stays that way when I tell it to shut down.

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

No I mean when I completely turn off the phone. Once it is completely off and I plug in the charger it "resets" (does the short buzz thing) and then Windows Mobile boots up.

Here's a simple solution, I've used it and it's works well (had to edit a few contacts manually but it's still good).
