ok ill try that... i also can only get android to work on my vogue by using the cab installer.. can someone help me install it the other way?

since the vogue uses a micro sd card you cant really write to the card so most of the files and dll that needs to be written dont get written so some applications and marketplace dont work and contacts does not back up so how do i go by fixing these errors

Alls i did was put all the files on my sd card and run haret. there was nothing to 'install'...

you didnt put anything on windows root?

nope. EVERYthing is on my sd. but then that might be why im having trouble getting my internet working. I just got into flashing so i havent been really playing with the Android.

ya i been flashing for a while and i also cook my own ROM's... But i just wanted to try something completely different from Windows Mobile lol.

If i still had the XP partition on my Macbook i would probably be cooking too, but it had to go. I need the extra room. Unfortunately 250GB dont last long these days...

I was having the same problem with marketplace not downloading anything even though i had never downloaded anything before. This is what I did.

1. Delete everything on your sd card. Make sure there is nothing else android related on your card OR your htc touch itself.
2. Put your android folder containing everything but system.img and data.img on your sd card.
3. Put system.img and data.img on the root of your sd card.
4. Start a data connection, open a broswer, start the weather update etc.
5. Run Haret.exe in your android folder.
6. Set up your google account.
7. Open market place and giver.

It's possible that it might take a few tries. But I've got it working now using these steps, and I have to say, FUCCCCCK IPHONE! hahaha. enjoy.

I didn't. Like the rom I flashed earlier so I figure I would give android another try. I left all the android files on the root of my card where they were but I renamed the file vogue default to just default and let it overwrkte the other one. Once I got into the os I gried the bbrowser and nothing. I started togga and again tested the browser. Bam I had net. ActuLly typing from androd now. Even my market place works.
