Isn't it true that people have gotten this working on the Touch HD. Has anybody out there gotten Android to work on the Sprint Touch Pro?

Well I don't think you had the newest version, because the newest version doesn't include SlideME....

Yes i believe i read that about the HD, but the thread is specifically for the Vouge, and i know dzo (the person who ported it) Has a vogue. Maybe google could find someone porting it to the Touch Pro...

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

Hello

Can anyone give me the best configuration for the default.txt?? I'm not sure what to put for the screen resolution and for the username and pw for internet.

Also I keep getting a weird screen shift everytime the screen goes to sleep and comes back. I've attached a picture.

Last but not least when I boot into android I keep getting the prompts that tell you how to scroll a page and ask me to setup my google account which I've already done.. apparently it's not sticking.

approx the 18th line:

set cmdline "ppp.username=mobile@jamamobile ppp.password=telecom mddi.width=312 mddi.height=416 msm_sdcc.msmsdcc_fmax=32000000 pm.sleep_mode=3 board-htcvogue.panel_type=1 no_console_suspend"

thats what works on my vogue, you can experiment with panel_type=# (1-3) in above.

and make sure you're not editing a line that begins with a # as that depicts a comment.
