Re: Websites coming up in spanish
I think it has to do with the IP range that sprint is serving you.. it's possible that they aquired new IP blocks which used to belong to other countries

Re: Websites coming up in spanish
I wonder if its just the touch or if other phones are having this problem. the guy i talked to from Sprint had no clue he seemed to think it was a virus but he also had no idea how to fix it so i dont consider it a reliable score.

Re: Websites coming up in spanish
I had the same issue when I first flashed to 6.1, but by logging into Google under my account, it quickly went away and I did not see the issue on any other site after that.
I highly doubt it's a virus, htcuser. |

Why would he say that? Windows Mobile devices are susceptible to worms, viri, scripts etc.. Someone using blue tooth hacks accessing your phone when they are near by and infect you, is very common. Same goes with warez, leaks and hacks found on the net. I am not saying the actual author will release an infected file, but those .zips .rar etc files run thru other systems infected, thus infecting the files they host/share etc.. SpyBot, Symantec, Mcafee and Kapersy all make PPC antivirus programs. http://www.safer-networking.org/en/wince/index.html http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/ppc-av.htm I was wondering myself why my websites were coming up in spanish... But this only happened after installing some cabs, which I forget.. -CC |
