Are you referring to the Sprint Home plugin? If so, check here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ht=Sprint+Home

Re: How-to: Cube Edits/mods/creation

I am working in my own cube thank you for this. Is there a way to make the cube tansparent. I am making icons and I want them to look like they are floating.

Re: How-to: Cube Edits/mods/creation

Not unless you've figured out how to create a transparent bmp

Seriously, though, the closest you will get is to make the buttons small enough to leave a gap between them, which will let the background image show through between them.

Re: How-to: Cube Edits/mods/creation

How about using one of the buttons to go to a specific side of the cube.

Re: How-to: Cube Edits/mods/creation

That does not seem possible either.

On thing I have noticed is that if you open APLauncher.exe (or any of the other Apps used by the Cube) in File Explorer the screen will flicker and you can swipe left or right to slide through the sides, even though the Cube doesn't appear to be open.

Re: How-to: Cube Edits/mods/creation

MusicMan,
I wanted to share a post I made at SprintUsers.com. Here it is:

To All frustrated HTC users. When I saw how little imagination went into the icons/functions of the cube, I found myself suffering from "IPhone envy".

Now thanks to a guy called "Music Man" I'm cured. I've gone from IPhone envy to I feeling sorry for those with Iphones.

MusicMan has developed an Icube, touchflow, and what I'm currently using the macroflow.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=17995

Once you see what is possible with the cube you will NEVER regret your decison to use the Touch instead of the I Phone.

You will also wonder why our phones didn't come with this program. I think Sprint would sell tens/hundreds of thousands more of the HTC Touch if they allowed/insisted HTC to have 1/2 the imagination as the Music Man

Re: How-to: Cube Edits/mods/creation

Thank you for the compliment, but I am only creating skins for the HTC TouchFlo program, which does come standard on the Touch.

But thank you none-the-less!

Re: How-to: Cube Edits/mods/creation

Don't short yourself Music Man, skinning it may be the easy part (albeit tedious), but figuring out how, and providing adequate documentation is top notch... excellent work, and thanks for making this available (you, Polen, and the others who spend hours figuring this addiction out) =D>

Question Re: How-to: Cube Edits/mods/creation

Hello!

I'm a novice at this and I'm using the HTC 8925 for AT&T (tilt).

My attempts to change the Cube in the Cube Config Tool have been unsuccessfull thus far.

For example: I'm trying to change the upper left icon/button to Contacts. So far, I've downloaded and saved Polen's CubeIconPacks1&2.zip file.

It is my understanding that the icon "path" is My Documents\Cube Icons.

#1. In the 6-App Side screen of the Cube Config Tool I've highlighted the upper left corner and chosen "Shortcut" Contacts.

#2. "Parameters" left empty.

#3. "Icon Path" - what do I type here???

#4. Icon Press Path (.brn) - what goes here???

FWIW I'm trying to change the icons/buttons on the 6 cube to Contacts, Calculator, Explorer, IM, Weather, and Calendar.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Re: How-to: Cube Edits/mods/creation

IconPath is the file path for the icon you would like to show up. I believe thisguyinoc has included a file browser with his Cube Config. Tap the grey button next to the text box to open the file browser, then go to the icon (brn) that you would like in that spot. Same thing for the IcoNPressPath, which is the icon you see when you press the button.

Hope this helps! Welcome to PPCGeeks!
