Original OEM BELL WM6.1 Rom

I flashed this ROM last night, along with the v1.59.10a radio for Bell. Works great.
Visually, there doesn't seem to be much difference between wm6.0 and wm6.1. However in the few hours that I've been using it, I believe I have noticed a performance increase and better stability. Not sure if the performance and stability are due to the wm6.1rom, the 1.59.10a radio, or a combination of both... but I ain't complaining. I havn't had a chance to try the threaded SMS yet.

One thing I did notice though... is that this rom is missing messenger live... I'm gonna go search for it on the forums as I seem to remember seeing a link to download it.

For those wondering, I am a Bell mobility customer in the Quebec region.

I just noticed that this rom doesn't have Windows Live Mobile pre-installed... does anyone have a link to the latest cab version so that I can install it?

This thread has a bunch of versions to pick from. I used the most recent and found the only difference from the original is Live Mail used to say "Mail" on the today screen. Now it says "Hot Mail" but you can use your live.com account.

This ROM is working great for me with the Bell 1.59.10a radio.

I only wish UC was cooked into it

hey, i dont know why but i cant download the rom for some reason, wheter with coreftp or my firefox and even IE explorer on th desktop it says that my login is incorrent. Further, ive never flashed my bell touch to another rom yet, but i have read up on the process, will this rom require me to unlock my touch and then install the rom, and lastly, how do you install a radio? arent radios built into roms? srry for all the questions...and thanks in advance for ur help

I have the exact same problem.
Can someone put the file up somewhere else or check what the problem is. I unlocked my device and updated the radio but would like to update the rom now as well.

hey so i figured it out.... if you have firefox you'll have trouble downloading the software from the ftp server... if you go here ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/

you can easily access the files you need.... btw i figured out how to flash and everything, rom is working great and is stable...thanks to the developer...but just one last questions, how do you upgrade a radio?
