Thanks for the clarification. I thought the op comment about “basic” was describing the ROM as missing redundant and unnecessary files from the ROM. If that was the case I wanted to know what is was missing.

An update... I've been running the Bell OEM rom since it was posted (about 2 days) and everything is very stable. I use my phone fairly frequently for calls/music/browsing/testing ppc apps and have had no lock-ups or any issues to date. FYI: I also have the bell radio ver 1.59.10a

Sorry guys, I'm kinda new at all this... When a ROM is described as being BASIC, does that mean that it is ONLY Windows Mobile? or does that also include apps such as Mobile Office, and all the other apps that come pre-installed when you buy a BELL TOUCH?

It means that the ROM is OEM - meaning that anything you would have got with the original stock Touch, you get with this, including Office, Adobe Reader, HTC Home, etc.

I flashed this ROM last night, along with the v1.59.10a radio for Bell. Works great.
Visually, there doesn't seem to be much difference between wm6.0 and wm6.1. However in the few hours that I've been using it, I believe I have noticed a performance increase and better stability. Not sure if the performance and stability are due to the wm6.1rom, the 1.59.10a radio, or a combination of both... but I ain't complaining. I havn't had a chance to try the threaded SMS yet.

One thing I did notice though... is that this rom is missing messenger live... I'm gonna go search for it on the forums as I seem to remember seeing a link to download it.

For those wondering, I am a Bell mobility customer in the Quebec region.
