Sprint no longer activating Touch/Vogue with Sero

I'm on a Sero plan and just called to switch my touch to this plan and was told by customer service and tech support that the touch can not be activated on a sero plan because the billing codes no longer match...


tech support was told by accounts that touch is the only sprint phone incompatable with the sero plan and "they are trying to resolve it."

has anyone else had this issue

No I have not heard it and it makes no sense whatsoever. I'd say call and try again.

yeah i thought that called back again and was told that i would have to change from my sero plan to a normal plan with addons (more money) if i wanted to keep the touch

In my opinion that is total BS, I would wait a day or two and see what gets resolved. This must be the same idiot that turned off MMS. Who knows.

Yeah, I would just try again. Can you switch phones in the web-based tool? I would try that too... I was switching to a Palm at one point, and they told me it couldn't be done, I was like oh ok, fine hung up. Pressed redial and got switched fine. Half the people there either are really stupid, or don't want to do anything, and I think it's a mix of both for most.

The sprint SERO website still shows the touch as a phone in their "Sprint Employee Referral Offer Shoppers Private Store"

This might be a system glitch but it should be resolved soon if it really is one.

i made a point of telling the rep when i ordered my plan that i was going to transfer my touch to it and he said that was fine

This is definitely bizarre. I would try waiting until monday evening. They may be waiting for Monday when all the corp employees are in to fix the problem. If not post again and I try to figure out what dept is in charge of this. I don't think it is a permanent problem.
