Touch 20 key Keyboard

I've read several posts on forcing the full qwerty keyboard to be the default for those who don't like the 20 key one. I happen to prefer the 20 key with the XT9, my fingers are a little big for the qwerty. Unfortunetly, my work only supports sync'ng with exchange through GoodLink and in all of Goodlinks apps, the full qwerty keyboard is displayed. Is there any way to control this? As a side note - it seems that a switch option or key would have been a nice (aka how heck did they miss it) feature.
