OK, I hate to post this question, but it was one of the original questions in this post, and it still hasn't been answered.

I was going to ask about the GPS, because I haven't seen anything official stating it's even in the Sprint Touch, but then I found this link regarding GPS.

So, my question is regarding the Rev A.
Does anyone have a link to something showing that this phone is RevA capable (pending a ROM update of course)?

I can live without the wifi, if I can see a future with Rev A.
I just haven't seen any convincing proof that it's rev A compatible.

FYI - Saying a Rep or eCare person told you, is not convincing proof.
The tech I talked to said to "ALWAYS" drain the battery completely to improve the battery life on the phone.
He said that goes for "every phone" including the "PDA" phones.

Technically that used to be true, he is just a little out dated. Current batteries don't keep memory like old ones do.

As far as actual proof, you won't find it. Sprint never put out a release that says we will upgrade this phone to rev A. It has just come out because several employees at Sprint know this to be something they want to do, but just like the 6600, it is never a guarantee until it is in place. It is rev A capable because it uses the same chips as the Mogul.

his elevator seems not to go all the way to the top floor-

they dont manufacture a CDMA touch. GSM is a different story. Get your story together buddy

I find that interesting, considering the fact that I have the Touch and I use Sprint. As far as I know, it's CDMA, it's Sprint, and it's the HTC touch. But don't take my word for it. Look on the sprint website.
