Nice job! But for that to work with the 4th side 8 more buttons would have to be added and each button would need to have the proportions of h80 x w60.

If you'd like me to take a stab at it, I'd be happy to, but it'll have to wait until tomorrow night.

Hmm? My bad. I was trying to go by the grid the person posted earlier.

However...DRAT...now that I go back to the first page I realize that its 2 across, 4 down. LOL. And I just noticed that the white line isn't a divider, but where to put the icon. D'oh! Back to the drawing board.

However...if you would be able to actually make the 4th wall (and even the other multi-launcher wall) to be able to work in the "iPhone" type layout, that'd be amazing.

My ultimate goal if I can learn how some of these things work, or if someone helps me out, would be this:

An iPhone theme for my normal today screen. Then being able to "swipe up" to get to the cube and more programs, and can swipe around the cube (all with a similar look to it), and then finally can swipe back down to get to the today screen.

Basically, making the Cube look as close to the today screen as possible, so that its almost like both are part of the same launching type app instead of two separate interfaces.

. . .

Sorry, think I rambled on a bit there. Yeah, if there was any way you could make the "4th" wall and possibly the other app. launching wall able to do 4 across, 4 down, that'd be absolutely stellar.

So um lets see if this is closer to correct.

Granted, not the actual icons up top that I'd want to use, but just was grabbing what ones I could find real quick. The 4 x 4 would be nicer, but I'm not going to complain having a 4th wall and a 3rd wall that's 2 x 4

Actually, the more I've thought about it, the more I'd like a pure black theme for the normal today screen but keep it as is, and skin the cube into an "iPhone" like interface. Especially if you find a way to make it 4x4 on those two sides instead of 2x4.

That would save battery life and RAM not having to run WA3 or WAD, lets me keep the today screen features I like, while still having an iPhone like interface. Now I just have to figure out how to actually do skinning of the cubes lol.

Thanks Musicman, you've got me very excited and I don't even have my Touch yet.

I'm working on this one right now and have a couple questions.

Weather - what weather app are you referring to? Is it third party, or would you like it to just open up the browser to Accuweather?

Also, the iPod button, do you want that to link to the HTC Audio manager, or Windows Media, or something entirely different?

I'm guessing Maps is Google Maps?

Clock? Clock settings?

Everything else is pretty self-explanitory.

Honestly, no clue :\ I just used those icons ripped off of someone elses iPhone theme. I don't know how to make icons well.

iPod would go to WMP

Weather I'm going to be using Marsware Weatherpanel

Spb Time is what I'm using with clock.

Appreciate you working on the actual skin a ton. Sorry I didn't put a bit more thought into exactly what Icons I wanted and such...as it was just a rough thing at first to see if I had the right idea Let me scramble real quick and see if I can get something closer to what I'd actually be hoping for. Or if you know of a way to get the general layout and let me know how to set it up.

Thanks for this btw, sorry for the pain.

Just a quick question here.......this all looks great but after looking all this over, if you are not into registry changes, stay away right?
