Re: Who has NOT had memory card issues with the Touch?

I just got a 4 gb sandisk card and it works great with storing pictures and cabs but sprint music store does not recognize it. Does anyone know how to format it.

Re: Who has NOT had memory card issues with the Touch?

I have never had a problem. Losing stuff, however transfering large files like igo8 maps TO the phone sometimes gives me a corrupt file error.

Re: Who has NOT had memory card issues with the Touch?

i used to have a 4gb A-Data card that would corrupt every couple of weeks. i even sent it back to A-Data for RMA and it still kept on corrupting, so most likely something in the touch was corrupting it. i since switched it to a PQI 2GB and haven't had a problem since.

Re: Who has NOT had memory card issues with the Touch?

Strangely I own a Mogul and I have had the exact same thing happen to me since I upgraded to the later ROM. Prior to that I havent had any issues, I thought all my files were deleted somehow cause I would check the card and they wouldnt show up. So what I did was did a soft reset and everything was back to normal. 1st time for me but strange as well.................

Re: Who has NOT had memory card issues with the Touch?

I have had probelms, I had the 512mb then a 2Gb MicroSD and both ended up getting corrupted with weird filenames with symbols and unable to open or delete them

Re: Who has NOT had memory card issues with the Touch?

my wife has had problems with hers and i think it stems from the camera application. It craps out sometimes trying to save shots or video to the sd card. Mine has the same issue.
Anyway hers eventually quit. Could not read or view any files. Essentially her sd card is now dead. WM doesn't recognize when the card is inserted or removed.

Re: Who has NOT had memory card issues with the Touch?

i was just about to say i have the exact same problem, cept mine stopped reading my 1gb card after a party standing in the rain. i took the phone in and recieved a new mogul replacement and placed the 1gb card into that phone and still no read. but then i placed the stock 512mb card that came with the new replacement and it read the card, then i placed the 1gb card back into the phone and if read it, but as i played around with it i realized the phone was hit and miss with reading the card. my best advice would be to continue removing and inserting the card until u get something. or try someone elses card in the phone and see if its not the phone itself that may be the problem. goodluck
