I've been using the same programs except for Resco Radio (haven't had time to update the stations). So either the Alltel ROM fixed things, or Resco Radio caused all the problems. I watch movies on my Touch, the card is accessed pretty frequently.
Ive been over 2 weeks without a corruption on alltell ROM. It definitely fixed the issue. Im running the same things i was running before.

Re: Who has NOT had memory card issues with the Touch?

i have a 2gig kingston card, and for some reason my phone wont read more than 86.1mb...i dont think its the card cause it reads fine on my memory card reader on my pc. i called kingston to get a new card, so we will see if that works, if not, does anyone have a fix for this?

Re: Who has NOT had memory card issues with the Touch?

What file structure have the guys who don't have any problems initially formatted their memory cards? Is is FAT32?
As an aside, could someone point me to a tutorial thread for cooking roms for the Touch, if there any such tutorials on this forum, that is.
Thanks

Re: Who has NOT had memory card issues with the Touch?

I had numerous problems when I had a 2G Sandisk card, but when I upgraded to a 4G Patriot SDHC Class 6, I haven't had a single issue in probably 5 months. I was on the stock rom for at least 3 of those months...

Re: Who has NOT had memory card issues with the Touch?

No problems at all, and I've had my Touch with an 8Gb Sandisk card since last November. Up until 2 weeks ago I was running the stock ROM, when I updated to the "Almost OEM WM6.1" ROM.

Re: Who has NOT had memory card issues with the Touch?

I have a 8gb Sandisk card since I had this phone (about 3 months now I think) and the only had the picture disappearing problem once. After that I formated the card and then I did a hard reset and never saw the problem again. I don't know if the first time was really the card fault or mine since I can't reproduce the problem anyh more.

4 GB kingston with no problems ever. I've had the touch since the night before the first day it was released for sprint. It sounds like i am the chosen one.....
