Is it: "but Blank Screen only" under "On Battery Power" and "On External Power"

"Don't Suspend Power" under "Advanced"
The first one.

I can verify also that I'm getting errors with the "but blank screen".

I tried the advanced option and haven't had errors yet but I need to wait and see.

I had lots of problems with the SD before installing s2u2, but now that everything (including s2u2) runs from main memory and the SD is merely a backup/repository, the phone is very stable, and the SD has not needed any help in a couple weeks.

I don't (and with the Touch, never have) run any apps off the card. I use my card only to store audio books, podcasts that are sync'd from my computer, cab files for reinstalling, and backups.

I'm back at square one with this issue since everything I've tried has not caused it to stop.

Add me too the list. My card got corrupted 3 times within a week and it seemed to happen when I installed Sprint's Mobile Email and enabled my Yahoo account. I always chose SD card to store attachments and after the first couple sync's with yahoo my card wasn't readable and everything was "gone". I say "gone" because when I check the amount of storage free in the card from the computer, it shows that its still almost full. So like mcw said in post 88 its still there its just messed up. I had the phone replaced but I checked the sofware and firmware of the new one and its still the same as the old one. I never installed mobile email this time and everything was fine until.....my photo album won't stay open. I think I have to many pics (approx. 90) in DCIM\100MEDIA folder because when I click on pics, the album starts loading and after two rows are loaded it just returns to the home screen. Anyone have this issue. It stopped when I deleted half the pics in that folder.

Ok, been folowing this thread ever since my SD card crashed on me and is a garbled mess. Is there any hope of recovering my data. Not so much the music downloads that i paid for, but the many photos i took and had yet to backup. I never thought my saved photos on my sd card would get erased. Any recovery tools that can sucessfully recover the data from my card or should i just forget about it and move on?

I solved my own problem with the photo album. There was one photo (a jpg) that would close photo album for some reason. First I removed all the pics from \100MEDIA with Total Commander. Then I moved them back into the 100MEDIA folder 5 at a time and opened photo album to check if the bad photo was one of the five. And wouldn't you know it, the corrupted photo was one of the last five I moved. After I deleted that one everything was fine.

I've had the problem of garbled and missing folders 3 times in the past month.
Soft-reset only worked once.
I woke up with it this way today.
I can't even delete the garbled folders since it thinks they're system files or read-only.
I even booted into Safe Mode with iLauncher and tried to delete them but it still won't work.
I guess I'll need to copy over to my PC what I still have, format, and copy back.
I hope they get a hold of this.
