Before S2U2, I would get corruption of my SD card every time I used CorePlayer to play MP3s over A2DP. Since S2U2 and the power settings, I've had zero issues.

Wow - sounds like someone got up on the wrong side of the bed!

Once again, my point was that S2U2, if installed to main memory, is not the cause of the SD card corruption.

There are lots of people on here, myself included, that run it with "zero issues".

I think hippitys understands that s2u2 is not the issue- we are all using it as a temporary fix to try and keep the device awake by using the blank screen option. While this does slow down the the occurance of the corrupt card, it doesnt solve it for me.
I dont think anyone is blaming s2u2.

2gb card and no issues. I have my weather panel (phat phingerz) program on the card, my music, and ll of my 20+ games installed on my card and have had no issues. This is the card I previously had in my Mogul.

Correct. I believe that I'm the one who introduced it to this thread specifically for combating the SD card corruption problem.

I had this problem when I first got my touch -- every few days the bundled 512mb sd card was corrupted.

Since then have hard-reset and then soft-reset the device just before the sprint garbage is installed. Also put in a new 6GB sandisk sdhc. For 3 weeks now I have had no issues -- not proof yet, but at least its looking good so far. If a few months go by with no issues I will call the problem solved.

is anyone having problems when NOT running with the sprint bundled software?

Also, anyone having corruption problems with an sdhc card (6GB or higher) ?

As retrobits asked, are you guys allowing Sprint's customizations to install?

I personally don't think it matters (I have all customizations installed and I've never once seen any corruption) but its always best to get the full spectrum of the situation instead of just the problem itself.
