Touch not waking up from Sleep Mode for Calls and TXT

Signing on... Just read through page 5 and skipped to the end. This is both a relief and a headache. I bought a pair of these phones the day they came out and mine has been fine with very few exceptions. My wife's on the other hand has been plagued with this bug almost since day one. Furthermore, I actually called Sprint and got them to give us a new one and this one has the exact same problem (my wife must just have bad luck)! I determined pretty early on that it generally happened when the battery was below a certain threshold, but now it is happening with more regularity and my wife is about to throw the thing agains the wall!

So is the general concensus that we need to wait for a ROM update on this?

Could this be a defect with the logic chip in the battery? I know that on Motorola phones, if a battery is defective, it can really screw-up the phone, which goes without saying, but still.

Or has this been discussed before? Too many replies to sort through.

I am also having the same problem. Sprint doesn't seem to know what the problem is. I'm on my second touch with the same problems.

i also had the same problems and i took it back to sprint the rep played with it a while but now it works fine, i think she went to settings-sounds and notification -notification and changed some settings

I have had the same problem. Was about to return, so I removed the SD card and cleared the the memory. For varioous reasons decided to try again. I put the SD card back in, installed the 3rd party programs that I had and synced it. It has been working flawlessly for about a week now.
Don't know what is up.
It is a Sprint touch.

I have experienced the same difficulty and was going to return it. Removed the SD card and cleared the memory. For various reasons, I decided to give it another try. Synced it, put the SD card back in and reinstalled the 3rd party programs I had on it before. Do not know why, but it has worked flawlessly now for 1 week. No more lock up problems. I do not mean to say that this is the answer, but it might give some insight to those who know more about these issues. Ill report back in another week.

I seem to only have this problem when I use blue tooth on. I also installed s2u2 and haven't had it happened since.

I had the problem, the local store replaced it via insurance. Have had no problems ever since.

That wasn't the only thing wrong with the phone so they might not replace it usually.

It happened to me the second day I had my Touch and I didnt even have anything on it yet, just whatever came with the phone. I honestly think its just the phone itself and not the programs.

wm6 notification q is buggered clean with memmaid or pocket mechanic
