You can also unrara this RUU and drop the renamed nbh in and give it a try.

Hmm...

Maybe he should run the original .40 unlocker and when it tries to reset hold down power & camera and push stylus in the reset hole to go directly into bootloader. Do that until he sees .40 coke. Then flash the shipped stock rom.
If he has 1.xx.xx radio now then he needs to flash a stock rom with a 1.xx.xx radio.

tried this. error 240
file failed to open. downgraded radio to 1.xx
and now i'm going to use the stock verizon rom via sd.

*EDIT* NOW DONE! and i'm booting up vin's sys v4 rom with gps!

yeah. i just ended up downgrading my radio to 1.xx. then i just flashed the stock rom via sd card too! then i followed pdaj's tutorial and wallah. 1.37pri.

Well, glad to hear you got it to boot!
So I guess when you flashed the stock verizon rom it re-upgraded your radio to a 3.xx.xx version...right? I ask because I don't think you can get gps with a 1.xx.xx radio. So if you still have the old radio I would flash the newer 3.xx.xx radio from your sd card.

actually no... i just downgraded the radio. and i loaded up stock 1.xx vzw rom. then i just upgraded the radio, put the phone into bootloader, loaded up vin's rom, then used unlocker 2.31 and wallah. although how long should it take to get gps signals?
i have a macdot cab file blocking data.

OK, but when you boot up it says 3.xx.xx next to the red R ? If it does then you have the gps radio.

The first time you try to get a lock it may take at least a min or so. After, you should get faster locks .

yeah it says that... but when i try to load google maps... it says "cannot load, needs data connection" but i just flashed the rom about 2 hours ago and only installed finger keyboard 2.1 and i used pim backup...
thats odd...
