That's where 99% of the problems come from.
If you flash a bunch, then it's always best to go back to stock every now and then, and then flash the custom rom again, and if you flash them 2+ times,
(three seems to be a magic number), it eliminates tons of bugs,
and/or long-term problems people have with the rom.

Well I'm hitting up some old friends to get the new stuff and I'm going to make a new rom myself just to see if I'm still as good if not better then before...but I got to wait til tomorrow cause of Opera 9.7

Only you and one other person has the sms bug.
With his roms it really makes a million times difference to flash to stock,
then flash 3 times.

dude, you keep saying that. i did flash to stock, then flash his 3 times and the sms bug is still present after installing the sprint dcd cab. this bug has been present in every 6.5 rom ive used to date.no big deal as i just use palm threaded to fix it but it should just work out of the box!

Opera 9.7 does not work with NFSFAN's latest, I haven't tried other ROMS yet.

No SIP toggle and very very slow response. Freezes as well.

My bad, sometimes I forget who I have said that to already,
I'm usually on here responding for a couple hours each day.

But I wonder if it could be something with the sprint cab causing this conflict with something in the rom...

He answered this at xda.
It won't work with a current driver,
he's working on a new version of the driver to try and get it to work,
but right now he's going to get 9.5 ultra optimized
and skinned with 9.7 icons to tie us over.

As for sip, I'm uploading another sipchange type program when I get home, it's better than sipchange.
And I'm not having the slow response at all.
It's extremely quick.
If you do not flash to stock and then flash multiple times with Nfsfan's roms,
you'll miss out and have a worse experience.
People critisize me for saying that all the time,
but then when they do it,
they realize it's the way to go.

Sorry for the confusion. My slow response and freezes reference was to Opera 9.7, not this rom. It's very fast and stable

Ahhh. My bad, I should have gotten that since the convo was about 9.7
But yeah, he's workin on it.
Hopefully sometime soon I can help him out workin with some drivers
or something.

The ones that POP up everytime you get a message. I do like it sometimes, but it sucks when you are writing someone else, and it pops up interrupting. I know some ROMs have it and some do not. I just dont know how to turn it off.

side note; what is funny is I actually dug my 6900 out of my drawer this weekend (because I am sick and tired of my TouchPro with the crippled memory) and looked into some 6.5 love for it, and i gotta say. This ROM brings new life to the 6900. I have now thrown my TP into my drawer. Typically, with any ROM on my TP, I would be at 70% memory usage (at start-up) with anywhere from 30mb-44mb free available. TERRIBLE!

QVGA is a bummer, but its much better than running out of memory just from launching opera.

All and all, Great ROM!
