side note; what is funny is I actually dug my 6900 out of my drawer this weekend (because I am sick and tired of my TouchPro with the crippled memory) and looked into some 6.5 love for it, and i gotta say. This ROM brings new life to the 6900. I have now thrown my TP into my drawer. Typically, with any ROM on my TP, I would be at 70% memory usage (at start-up) with anywhere from 30mb-44mb free available. TERRIBLE!

QVGA is a bummer, but its much better than running out of memory just from launching opera.

All and all, Great ROM!
Go to start>settings>sounds & notifications> click notifications tab on bottom. In the drop down menu select event. For example.... Messaging: new text message... and untick "Display message on screen" box. I believe you can do this for all types of events.

Haha, I agree. It brings new life to this phone.
I would also check into Nfsfan's rom for the TouchPro.
He optimized tons of drivers and dll's like he did for the vogue.

Also, for the new text message pop up screen,
go to start > settings > sounds and notifications
Click Notifications tab.
Then click the Event drop down menu,
and then for example click Messaging: New Text Message
Now down below that drop down box there will be a few options,
uncheck the Display Message on screen option, and you're good to go.
But you'll have to do this for mms, email,
and all other options you don't want it to show the on screen displays.

Someday I'll think about making a mortscript switch like they have in the CComm Titanium Panel.....Someday...

Much thanks guys!! It was driving me crazy. I'll look into his TP ROM, but to be honest, (after getting used to FingerKeyboard) the 6900 isnt all that bad. I also have a Sprint TP with the ESN/MEID added to VZW's DMD, but could never get the data to work correct.

So, two TP's, one good, but no data, the other data, but crap memory....... long live the 6900!!

Haha, you did try the carrier cab on the one touch pro that the data doesn't work right?
maybe pm me and we can trouble shoot that if you'd like.
But glad to know you're liking the vogue again.

Re: NFSFAN's 6.5 21728 V9 GENERIC CARRIER ROM

I can't for the life of me get the GPS to work on the new version of this Rom.
I am with Bell so from the main post it seems I should not have an issue as he clearly posts GPS cab's for all other phone providers. And since he is on Bell himself it should be built into this Rom.

Any ideas on how I might be able to fix this?
Its the only issue I have and I am sure there must be a fix.

Thanks
