Verizon - Official WM 6.1 Update

Greetings, I did the flash, and installed valhallah gps server, i open google maps and click enable GPS, it says searching for satellites (0), is there anything i have to change in settings before this will work?

I have location turned on

I have an active data connection

When i open External GPS under settings the program port is set to COM4
hardware port is set to none
baud rate is 4800
and windows automatically manages gps

do these settings seem correct?

This is nice! I ran the update, and am now running 6.1, i notice its quicker and has some nice tweaks. Only problem i'm having is getting gps to work, i've installed Valhalla GPSServer however i'm still not getting any satellites to show up =[

I did the flash but now that i have I cannot seem to connect to verizon's network. the signal is fine, just says searching. I had a custom ROM with radio 3.42.50 I think and I believe WDM's manilla full ROM.

I don't know what to do now. No matter what ROM I install, same thing...searching...

I did let the customizations run for this ROM, but it being verizon, i thought no problems would occur.

Think that could be what happened?

EDIT: I flashed back to this ROM and let the customizations run again and now there is a triangle in my top bar...does that mean i am roaming?

EDIT 2: *228 option 1, reset, *228 option 2...got me back on track. I always forget about that.

I ran the update. I have no speed dial on the first key where I once was able to dial voicemail. I am also having some problem with bluetooth and sluggishness. Any similar complaints????

Just Dropping a line, I have been running the leaked rom for about 4 days and it rocks, using GPS via the agps hack(locks in 10 sec using live search, only thing is if I close Live search then open it later it wont lock, but after a soft reset it locks again in less than 10 sec, any one else having this issue?), thanks for the help and support guys! But I have an issue that is driving me crazy - On the Home plug in I cant get the weather to take my small town code, I have tried to edit the xml file, no good, I tried the .dll replacement and it locks me up and leaves me to hard reset. I have modified the weather locations via a Cube edit program, Advanced Config as well as the HTC home customizer but no luck. I have even replaced the home plug in w/ newer versions that come stock on 6.1 phones.On the 6.1 kitchens I had no issue what so ever, what gives. I know a long explanation for a small problem Other than that this rom is great, very snappy and stable as well as little better battery life w/ the help of the reg hack. - Help me - I am to lazy to look out the window to see if its sunny

So since this has the older radio, how would the 3.42.50 radio work with this ROM?
