I finally updated with this rom and let customization run. Then I installed GPSServer. The GPS is working great with both google and livesearch. Thanks to everyone on this forum

I installed the leaked ROM, let the customization run on my VX6900 (flashed several ROMs and Radios previously). Installed the GPS server.
Amazing result --> I am now able to lock my position INDOORS in about 15 seconds! I was never able to do that before.
Very cool.

Talking Official WM 6.1 Update
For all you Verizon XV6900 users out there, it seems Verizon is finally about to jump onto the WM 6.1 boat..

From what I can tell, this update will include

Upgrade from WM 6.0 to WM 6.1

Support for Rev. A

Adds VZW Navigator (still GPS locked, it seems)

Adds Opera Mobile

I knew those vzw tech hording bastards would attempt to lock down the gps. I am sure my earlier theory of them leaking this rom update to here and xda were true. they wanted the hacks to show them the patches for unlocking so they could get one last lock down on it. it'll be fun to watch how fast after the "official" release a patch is made to unlock the gps again.

Just tried it on my device and it worked great. The only issue that I had was that I had to call up Verizon and re-authenticate the phone.
