So since this has the older radio, how would the 3.42.50 radio work with this ROM?

I am having an issue coming from NFSFAN's 1.04 ROM. I flashed the ROM and then let the customizations work and then installed the GPS Hack but I still can't get GPS lock. I have done the *228 Option 1 and *228 Option 2 but still no luck.

Another happy flasher. I was running a custom ROM, with aGPS fix. Flashed the Verizon 6.1 ROM, letting customizations run, ran the Valhalla cab, and all is well, including rapid GPS locks on Google. Phone seems to be getting better reception, too.

After flashing the new Verizon 6.1 ROM, I was able to *228 option 1, but was unable to *228 option 2. Voicemail was also not working. I waited an hour, and tried the *228 option 2 again, and it worked. Voicemail also started working once I got the *228 option 2 to work. I did not have to re-auth with a verizon CSR.

All that's left is to get internet sharing back on...

Installed the VZW update and the Valhalla gps.cab.
It took about 10 minutes and now I have WM 6.1 ,
Rev A , and gps unlocked.
I have gone on google maps several times and I get
6 - 8 sat hits in 10-15 seconds.
The data is very fast now and the ROM is very stable,
no freezes or resets in the last 6 hours since I installed
the update and Valhalla gps .cab.

Same result here! Very happy!

I have one issue with my nav program. I have iGuidance and it never gets a lock. It finds 6 to 10 sats depending on where I am but the lat. & long. keep changing. It worked fine with the external unit I had. The auto config in the app finds the gps. I can run Google Maps at the same time and it locks in a few seconds. Work perfectly with iGuidance running or not. Very strange.

Make sure you are using the GPS Intermediate Driver. If you are using COM4, one app may lock the access to the GPS and other won't get the coordinates.

I loaded the Valhalla gps .cab

Is that what you mean by Intermediate Driver? If not what do I need?

I had the OMJ 6.1 ROM on there with a Bell pre-flash. I installed this ROM with post customizations. No GPS however with the MR1 GPS steps (vahalla server, etc). Anyone else whose GPS is not working with this ROM now working? What did you do?

Should I run the non-MR1 GPS steps to get it to work?

**Update: Ran the non-MR1 GPS steps and installed the IntermediateGPS driver diag tool and now I get Sat locks in GPSviewer 1.5 and IntermediateGPS diag tool. Hurray! LiveSearch still says can't find GPS on Com0 for some reason. Going to remove and reinstall since I can lock Sats now. Trying other GPS apps will update.

**Update2: GPS working fully now. I can lock in less than 10 seconds with AmazeGPS and LiveSearch (had to change to Com4 in the app) apps! LiveSearch has the best directions and real time sat image integration. AmazeGPS isn't bad for turn by turn voice directions for free.
