Wrt the message, do you mean txt message? I get a sound and of course TF2D shows the number of new messages. Go to start->Settings->Personal->Sounds & Notifcations, then pick Notifications tab. You can set what you want your phone to do for new text message (i.e. virate, flash, sound).

If you're looking for the taskbar new-text icon, sometimes it gets buried under Qmenu's battery meter. You can disable the battery meter Start->QuickMenu->Option...

I didn't see the cabs available seperatly, maybe I am looking in the wrong place but i didn't see any cabs for customization that runs when you first start the phone after the flash.

Also, transcriber is missing and is there anyway to disable the slide to unlock function, i loved it the first few times, but now it is just annoying.

I am about to reboot into windows and put some finishing touches on beta 1 and then I should be able to post it later today!

Sweet can't wait for beta 1, my phone got put in the washer and just got a new one from the insurance program, i'll be able to test it on a blank phone, just need to remember how to get the unlocker on it, its been a while. Thanks again, love this ROM, especially after getting this phone with the stock one.

Just upgrade to the Official Sprint ROM so your radio is a GPS radio unless you already have that
then just unlock with the 2.31 unlocker from ImCokeMan and flash this ROM

Is this still going to make it later tonight. I too got a replacement handset today and have held off on flashing v2.3 in anticipation of this beta. 2.3 was sweet but the youtube video sold me originally.

Im running the DETTE 2.13 ROM (which is awsome, BTW) but I'm putting together some files to cook my own.. I'm wondering where the app that allows you to select options for "Connect to PC" comes from. Like when I plug in my USB cable, it fires off an app that asks if I want to "Connect with ActiveSync", "As a Disk", or "Internet Sharing" ..

I LOVE that, but I dont know how to install it. Any ideas?
