1. I dont know but since it was already unlocked, I didn't tried to relock it.
2. So far, it's too early... I'm at the office and can't play with it too much..



I just saw that the customizations includes running PPST.exe .. Interesting ... Maybe ppl will be able to use the 100% bell PPST on other roms on their Bell Touch.

EDIT : After few minuts of playing with it, I can say it feels fast.. faster than the original bell rom I think.. and about as fast as OMJ's ROM I was using.. stay tuned and UPDATE YOURS!

just for the case of an eventual warranty return,
is there any difference between two phones:
1) with the new rom flashed on to the locked phone with old official rom
vs
2) with the new rom flashed on to the UNlocked phone with a custom ROM

I too was running OMJ's rom and flashed directly to the new bell update no problems. Seems alot faster and the gps is perfect locked 8 sats in 10 sec
does not seem to lock after flash. and can only be updated if already unlocked. can not just flash from a locked bell rom



So it does appear that bell is charging for the gps. 3.50 per day or 8 dollars for a month.

BASTARDS.

Well now it will be eaiser to throw these updates (radio etc) into a custom rom.

Yeah I just updated with the newer rom and it worked just fine. I was using a custom rom before. I think as RLMCS mentioned, as long as you have 2.31COKE, you are good to go.

Can anyone verify the SPL after flashing this rom (power,camera buttons, poke reset hole), is it still 2.31 or has it changed and locked the phone again?
