Re: Official Bell Mobility GPS/Sat Radio/Rev A. Update!
Re new Bell ROM: I've noticed that after an hour or so of normal use, app icons on the Today screen will randomly stop working. Clicking on Google Maps or igo8 icons don't boot the apps... other icons however open (calculator, notes)... anyone else experiencing the same?

thank for the info! I will give it a try tonight and let you know ( I have 8GB SC) I have a lot of stuff in it. I need more time todo so. ![]() **update** whey I need to hard reset? I have did this many of time! can I just reformat just the SC? I have HTC GPS TOOL and I can lock my GPS between 30 sec up to 2 mins and then I run Tomtom 7 with out any problem. what about igo8 when you say ( "GPS Enabled" is checked on) its not better to have it unchecked to make igo8 boot faster. Re: Official Bell Mobility GPS/Sat Radio/Rev A. Update!
Just use Astrolauncher to launch IGO8. No freezing problems. Didn't have to reformat SD card or hard reset or anything.

Re: Official Bell Mobility GPS/Sat Radio/Rev A. Update!
I have just bought the Vogue, will have European carrier. Have a dilemma what to use:
1. Bell 3.42.50 radio with Bell PRI 2.02_007 (Bell firmware defaults) 2. Bell 3.42.50 radio with Sprint PRI 2.04_003 (you can get this by flashing Sprint and running Bell without customization) 3. Sprint 3.42.30 radio with Sprint PRI 2.04_003 (Sprint firmware defaults). GPS without carrier network (e.g. without A-GPS) is very important for me, because there are almost no coverage in the area. Can anyone suggest which radio/PRI will be better to use? |
