UPDATED 10-21-08 Manilla 2D Alltel 6.1

Found another bug.
the Volume slider button scrolls up and down instead of adjusting the volume
and if possible I would much rather have the messaging from the 10/21.

I notice that to. if it first brings up the large title bar, you can then touch the volume on the large title bar. and then from there on out it will adjust the volume. not sure why.

Just flashed the alltel 6.1 and then the new conflipper from today. Seems to work well overall. Is anyone having trouble getting a data connection? I activated with option 3 and updated roaming with option 2 but still get an error when a data connection is initiated...

Any ideas?

Ok I just flashed...

Cant seem to get a Data connection

IE will not open up

Seems Very Slow at times..
I did a Hard reset after I flashed maybe I need to do it again?

I Did another hrd reset and then..

I tried this...... (From ConFlipper on another thread... Thanks Con)

1. ##778 and then edit. unlock code should be 000000
2. go down to security. in your view info tab.
3 HDR AN AUTH id is, XXXXXXXXXX@alltel.net (x is where your phone number should be"
HDR AN AUTH password is- alltel

4. PPP user ID and Password are same has the ones you had above

Just playing around and found that while I am connected to ActiveSync I get Data service but still cannot get it from Alltel..... ??????????????

Same here, no data connection, and ie doesnt work...which i'm personally fine with.

I've been playing around with it for about a day now. I just flashed back to 10/21 because I rely on my phone for my internet connection for my computer .

Anyways, same as everyone else... IE not even opening, nor Opera. No data connection, volume slider doing strange things, and also no MMS. I even tried running the Alltel Customization again and did another hard reset... still no good.

Other than that, seemed to be running alright. It did randomly restart about 4 or 5 times last night.

yearn: yea i did do that advanced network change, and it didnt help the internet, i did fix the activesync connection though.

I did to.. no help.. I'd sure like to figure this out I'm kinda like Nathan_B I'm gonna have to flash back and that sucks I really like this update..... Oh well we will get it sooner or later....

Yearn.... What Radio do you have on?

Or anybody else that has working data on this update..
