You might also try TouchPal keyboard. They charge for the full version but it is really nice. There is a free version as well.

I assume it was a . cab file you downloaded. open the window on your pc that you downlaoded it to connect to your pc via active sync. wait till it says syncronized. then click the explore tab in the activesync window. You should see some files in the window that comes up (device, storage, ect. ) mow drag and drop the . cab file into the explore window. now disconnect from pc. use file explorer on your touch to navigate to my documents on your device. there should be a cab file in there called PCMkeyboard. cab or something like that, click on it and it will auto install it for you. make sure to install to device not sd card. Softreset then go to program files and it will be there. Oh ya and on that file I posted dont just copy the whole file to the pcmkeyboard file in program files. Go into the file I posted and copy everything in there to the pcm file in program files ,it will ask if you want to overwrit. just click yes to all. hope this helps.

looks like someone has posted an "officail" update. I am flashing now, and decompling now, flash is at 90%. This new build will now be the base for all new builds from me. Check out the link.

Cool! Are you future roms going to include both options from a recent post you made about having the option to have the normal htc home screen or manilla??

I thought I had that working, however something with manilla, the setting tab in manilla didnt work.

Here are some screen shots of the new alltel rom.

Now SMS and MMS are in the same folder.
Older version of opera
Alltel Navigation.

I will say this, so far i am not impress with the new alltel 6.1

AGPS is not enabled. So you still need to do shadow tech GPS trick to make it work.

nope. i am still on coke 2.31. and actually i flash it over onto a sprint phone that i use to test on, and it went fine, so no, it will not re lock your phone.

lol vacations are always short lived. I am taking a lil time off, but i am still lurking aorund, and now with this new update, I will have all kinds of fun things, It seems like it installs a specail driver for streaming in windows media player. it will be interesting to see everything i guess.

GPS has not got a lock yet, sitting next to a windows. it appears all they did was throw in the GPS drivers that everyone had in a cab file back in april. So GPS is not the best, but maybe that is just me.

I need to get to bed tho. I work in 5 hours. and need to sleep sometime.

If anyone is interested in the Updated PPST file, Alltel Navigation, and WMP streaming media, Here are the cab files from the new update.

I think the Navigation cost a monthly fee, I am not sure, so use with caution.
