looks like i have some work to do. i will try dropping my touch pro off and my plan and add on the vouge so that i can test everything.

I really like this ROM the new messaging is great..

One more thing I found though. When I forward a SMS joke to my friends it does not put it in the threaded conversation for everybody I sent it to. Just the first contact that is on the list...

Thats weird, I wonder why Data will work while hooked to ActiveSync and not any other time?
This messaging is more like the stock 6.1 but I think i prefer the messaging from 10/21, what does every one think?

I do alot of forwarding and this new update works good for that. I do like the SMS being on one tab and the MMS and E-Mail being on different tabs.

I guess if I had to chose I would go with the way it is on the new update.

I flashed back to the 10/21 I am going to go through and get all the Data settings and flash back to see if I can figure out our problem. Will let you guys know if I get it.

And I agree with Yearn, I really liked the Messaging on 10/21. How's the newer version coming along Con?

Something Strange is going on... I flashed beck to the 10/21 build and got my data back but only sometimes.... It was real flaky take a long time to connect and sometimes it would time out and not connect at all.

So I flashed back to the Stock 6.1 from Alltel (BTW after using Con's ROM Stock SUCKS!!!) But I have NO data at all??

I did a hard reset after the flash and ran the *228 option 3 twice..

Any Ideas?

Hmmmm.. Got a phone call and did a soft reset now it is back to working good.................. Sorry for the false alarm

A little more info on the data problems I am seeing. I was running the 10/21 rom then flashed the official Alltel 6.1 rom then cons latest from Friday. Data just would not work so, I flashed back to the 10/21 rom. Now data works but drops to 1x as soon as it connects. Very slow. My radio is 3.42.30. How is it going for everybody else having data problems?

first thing I would do is re flash the 10-21 rom. I would personally change the pagepool to 24 before I flashed cause I think it runs much smoother. after the flash power down phone and remove battery for 3 minutes. then hard reset. that's how I do all my flashs and never have any trouble.

I just went back to the alltel rom with a 3.37.10 radio and am still having the same problem. Alltel tech says my phone will not authenticate on the EVDO network but will on the 1x. They said if a hard reset didn't fix it I would need to get a replacement phone. Hard reset didn't fix it. I am flashing back to the Alltel 6.1 rom to see if that corrects this problem.
