so any news on when a new rom is gonna be out?? im getting itchy to switch to something new but im parcial to con's rom

It was based on the 20931 kitchen and included the Pic/Vid messaging.

Really the only thing I didn't like about Conflip's ROM was the weather tabs and how he had the 1/5 day separate. It would throw off the TF2/M2D themes. I also excluded the cube from my ROM.

That may have been as simple as an XML fix, but I wanted the native messaging and other little things as well as the experience of building my own.

That's too bad. He will be missed greatly. I just got my Touch a few months ago and its so yesterday. And nowi have to wait a year and a half for my next out-of-date phone. Hey Con...Please come back to us. You're the best and we need you!!!!

Hey Con with this ROM can Alltel tell if your tethering to your P.C for internet?

Just installed my first custom rom, worked great and everything seems to run faster and smoother especially manilla compared to the manilla cab. Thanks conflipper.

Sorry if this has been posted already, I have been using the HTCHome version of the ROM and it is amazing so far, im not a big fan of Manilla. On the Manilla ROM I was able to insert an edited weathercities xml with only the few cities that I wanted, and it worked great. I cannot get it to work with this ROM. I have tried various versions of HTCHome, followed the directions here and at XDA to no avail. Anyone know what I need to do? Thanks in advance.

have you checked out this thread? it worked for me when I was using cons htc home ROM.

I did everything that I read in the thread. Even tried the HTCHome.dll file, in every instance that file caused my touch to lockup after boot, its a stock file so I didn't expect any better. When I installed the other HTCHome versions I am able to view my custom database, however none of the links will work. I have tried both methods of entry for the cities ie: "city, state" loca="zip" land="state" and loca="NAM|US|ST|CITY" land="STATE". neither of these methods work for my cities, but some do for cities that I kept.
