I have been looking over this entire thread and reading and re reading the update instructions and i finally got everything to start it.
Now im having issues. The Ruu is giving me error 328 and saying that its the wrong version for my phone... did anyone have these issues? Do i have some sort of weird phone that wont accept the download?
Also my phone is now stuck on the tri color screen and it wont do anything. Ive already sent an email to HTC support and illl search on here for a way to recover my phone, but if anyone can help in the meanwhile please post.

PHEW i thought i had a heart attack for a min there. the thought of not having a phone was begining to really set in...
I did a quick search and found a thread with a solution. Seems windows vista has a bit of trouble playing nice sometimes. I simply copied the RUU download over to my home pc which runs xp and the upgrade went smooth as butter!

I also had problems upgrading my phone using vista, but last night i was messing around with the drivers for the windows mobile based device option in the device manager, i believe i downgraded the driver and after that my phone upgrade went through....lets see if some other people could try that and see if it works for them....?

NO. Anyone else having trouble sending or receiving texts? I couldn't so I went back to the leaked rom amd now its fine.

I have a Touch 3450 in Dutch. I don't think that I can use this upgrade. Do you know anything about an upgrade for me?

I believe you could use this update if you dont let the customizations run, although someone please correct me if i am wrong. However i dont know how well or if the gps and rev a will even work in holland. (isn't that where dutch people are from?)

I don't see anything similar to mobile-8 (your carrier) which is what leads me to believe that you will need to call their support technicians to have them configure your device while you are on the phone with them.

I think you may have answered my question, but I want to know if anyone has already upgraded a Verizon XV6900 with this new ROM?

Any issues/gotchas? Do you flash the whole ROM and let it run cusmoization, or do you stop is and run the Verizon .cab that DCD has on his website.

I am a noob and would like GPS on my Verizon touch. Step by Ste would be nice.
