PHEW i thought i had a heart attack for a min there. the thought of not having a phone was begining to really set in...
I did a quick search and found a thread with a solution. Seems windows vista has a bit of trouble playing nice sometimes. I simply copied the RUU download over to my home pc which runs xp and the upgrade went smooth as butter!

I also had problems upgrading my phone using vista, but last night i was messing around with the drivers for the windows mobile based device option in the device manager, i believe i downgraded the driver and after that my phone upgrade went through....lets see if some other people could try that and see if it works for them....?
